On May 20th ABC-ARTE inaugurates, in Genoa, the exhibition "Arnaldo Pomodoro To scratch, draw, write" curated by Flaminio Gualdoni.
The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation and the patronage of the Municipality of Genoa, presents about thirty important sculptures dating from the late 1950s to today.
Arnaldo Pomodoro was born in Montefeltro in 1926, he spent his childhood and education in Pesaro. He lives and works in Milan since 1954.

It is an immediate, free, always updated and precise tool, aimed at scholars, cultural institutions and students, collectors, market operators, as well as the general public, who can obtain information at any level of detail.
A database in which the materials conserved in Arnaldo Pomodoro's Archive will gradually converge, a tool for study and research on the life and works of the artist, but also an open window on the history of art and culture of the late twentieth century.
In 1995 Arnaldo Pomodoro estabilished the Foundation with the task of guaranteeing the conservation and enhancement of his work, giving life to a visionary idea: to create an inventive and almost experimental space for study and discussion on contemporary art, through a deep and global involvement of the public.
